Founded on March 28, 2004, TELLSI owes its inception to the vision and leadership of the late Dr. Seyed Ali Akbar Mirhasani, alongside a distinguished group of English language scholars. Its primary objectives include facilitating professional growth for English language educators and learners, elevating the quality of teaching and research, and reinforcing the role of English as a global language within Iran’s academic and educational landscape.

Organizational Structure:
TELLSI operates under a well-defined organizational framework comprising the following key bodies:
  1. General Assembly:
    The highest decision-making authority, consisting of official members who participate in annual meetings and contribute to shaping the society’s strategic vision and policies.
  2. Board of Directors:
    An elected group responsible for planning, managing, and implementing TELLSI’s policies, initiatives, and academic programs.
  3. Auditor (Inspector):
    An independent official tasked with overseeing the Board of Directors’ activities, ensuring accountability, and maintaining adherence to TELLSI’s governing regulations.
